Online Bullying Anonymity Accountability - Project Bullyish | Lillee Jean

Legislation reforming online platforms and enhancing accountability must be fought for. Most online platforms do not enforce their Terms of Service, thus, users' identities cannot be verified. As a result of platform negligence, people can create pseudo identities, remain anonymous, and do whatever they like online without the fear of being tracked. One of the most important digital rights is the right to privacy, to a safe online space, and to not be subjected to torturous criminal behavior.

By using artificially-intelligent programs, users can create photos of their "personas" online that look like real "humans", or, can create cartoon avatars that live out the cyberstalker's fantasy, which, can deeply impact a person's life.

The anonymity of the internet adds to the thrill of cyberstalking and bullying. By remaining anonymous, those who engage in such behavior can commit more destructive and cruel acts.
